Savannah Bursese

Savannah Devonne Bursese was born on February 9th, 1994, to Sam and Kim Marie Bursese, she was 24 years young at the time of her passing. Her life, however, was anything but tragic.

A passionate and determined young woman, Savannah always had a plan. She attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY under a sports scholarship, serving as the Volleyball Captain. She was a sister in what became an extended family – the Phi Sigma Phi sorority. In 2015, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Business Administration. Shortly thereafter, she completed the law school admissions test, to pursue her lifelong dream of a law degree.

After graduating Savannah became very active in the fitness community. But anyone who knows Savannah, knows that her first love, were her animals. Dogs, cats, lizards, ferrets, horses – you name it, she had it.

Nothing ever can or will replace our beautiful girl, but she was kind enough to leave reminders with us here. The animal lover in her birth mom. The wittiness in her father. The genuineness of her second mom. And the independence and tenacity of her sisters and her step-brother.
