Amanda Rose Rivenburg

 

Amanda Rivenburg was born on August 4th, 1989. She lived her whole life in the West Albany/Colonie area. She loved her dogs she had during her life; Shadoe, Banks, Hazel & Jada and helping out with friends and families children.

She played softball for the West Albnany Athletic Assoc. and also was a cheerleader for Colonie Pop Warner. After aging out of Pop Warner she went on to compete in competitive cheering and performed in major competitions around
the northeast including in Philadelphia and at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield Mass.

She loved going camping in the Adirondacks with her dad as well as their yearly trip for her birthday to see a Mets game in NYC. She was also an avid NY Giants fan.
She was a 2007 graduate of Colonie Central High School and a 2011 graduate from SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachelors degree in Social Work.
She began her career at Living Resources in December of 2011 and quickly proved her worth to the organization with her knowledge and dedication to her job and the clients she loved working with.

Her prowess was quickly recognized by her superiors at work and she was promoted 4 times in 7 years with the final one in January of 2018 to Assistant Director of the DCOP department of the organization.

Amanda was put in charge of growing her area of the company and quickly grew it to multiple counties to the south of the Albany area.
She loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends and was always ready to help anyone in need.

In Amandas short 29 years on this earth she touched a lot of lives and was loved by everyone she met.

Amanda will always be remembered for her beautiful eyes and always having a smile on her face for whomever she met.
